Continental Tires Selected as Original Equipment
On the all-new 2009 Chevy Traverse
Charlotte, NC – (December 18, 2008) – Continental Tire has been selected to supply original equipment tires for fitment to the all-new 2009 Chevrolet Traverse. Continental will supply the P245/70R17 108S General Grabber HTS for the LS trim level.
The latest tire line from the General brand, the Grabber HTS, is an excellent all-season tire that promotes enhanced steering response and provides reliable performance when braking, accelerating, and cornering. In addition, an optimized contour makes the Grabber HTS one of the most fuel efficient tires in the General brand line-up.
The all-new 2009 Chevy Traverse is a crossover SUV that finally brings together “the useful” and “the beautiful”. From its uncompromising capability and long list of safety features, to its head-turning style, the Traverse complements today’s on-the-go lifestyle as the newest addition to the Chevy family of vehicles.
